I was photographing Yosemite National Parks view from the tunnel overlook. The evening had been cloudy with rain and wind. I thought this might be an opportunity for some dramatic lighting in the valley. The sun was setting fast when a rainbow appeared directly over the valley. Unfortunately Half-Dome was covered with clouds but the top of El Capitan was beautifully lit and Bridalveil Falls was flowing strong.
