I was photographing Yosemite National Parks view from the tunnel overlook. The evening had been cloudy with rain and wind. I thought this might be an opertunity for some dramatic lignting in the valley. The sun was setting fast when a rainbow appered directly over the valley. Unfortunatly Half-Dome was covered with clouds but the top of El Capitan was beautfully Lit and Bridalvail Falls was flowing strong.
