This Big Boy hesitated before stepping on the ice. The warm April day had thinned the ice and water was visible around most of the edges. The sun was setting and providing beautiful light but only mere seconds of it. It was like a race between bear and light. I would be the winner of the race if the bear would emerge from the shadow just in time.  The Bear made it onto the ice and pulled the bison to shore as it would surly fall back through the ice tomorrow.
