This magnificent white wolf was legendary in Yellowstone National Park. She was the alpha female for the Canyon pack whose home territory was Hayden Valley. Her and her mate (collar number 712) survived as a pair for over a decade.

The Canyon pack endured because they were a smart pack surviving in between the territories of other wolves. They often used the road corridors to move to unoccupied wolf territories in the park. Thus, giving visitors the opportunity to see a wolf at a close distance. There have only been a few white wolves in Yellowstone including her daughter, the alpha female of the Wapiti Lake pack.
