If one keeps an eye in the sky or surveys the tops of the trees along the rushing waters, they have a good chance of seeing one of these majestic raptors.
 
There is a clearly visible nest in a big snag on the southeast side of the
road.  The eagles have not used the nest for raising their young in recent years but have employed the site as a dinner table.
