Three days later I saw what I thought were four of the Druids bedded down in front of some aspen trees. The group included the young female that had seemed so intrigued by an intruder. A large grey wolf was sleeping between her and a young black wolf. When he rose later, I could see a large wound on his front left leg. It was our hero.
