A warm fall day, the geese were gathering in the still waters of the Snake River reservoir. Mount Moran is part of the Teton mountain range and is one of the youngest mountain ranges in North America.
You may recognize this beauty as this site was made famous by Thomas Moran and Ansel Adams. For many years, I have been planning to photograph Mount Moran in the early days of October. This photograph radiates the tranquility and peace of Oxbow Bend at this time of year.
