The Eight Mile wolf pack was chasing the retreating Rescue Creek pack a cross the frozen Blacktail Ponds. I was trying to capture as many wolves as posable crossing the ice. The two packs were too far apart for my big lens to fit them all in one frame. I did, though unknowing, capture one of the retreating wolves that had veered to the right leaving the rest of its pack but also with regards to the pursuing pack “Gave Em The Slip”.
