The Eight Mile pack had just returned to Blacktail ponds in Yellowstone National Park. Eleven members had chased the Rescue Creek wolf pack from the area a few hours earlier. Two of the Eight Mile pack, that had not participated in the chase, were howling from the ridge, calling the eleven others back. There was still plenty of food at the ponds. They had taken care of the intruding wolf pack, now for that big Grizzly Bear.
